If you are expecting and have been prenatally diagnosed with vasa previa, congratulations! It can be very frightening to be diagnosed with vasa previa, but keep in mind that this is the best thing that could happen. A vasa previa diagnosis is a baby's ticket home. Prenatally diagnosed babies survive vasa previa with appropriate management. It helps to talk with others who are going through what you are. The Vasa_Previa email list is a great place to do this. There you will find many others who have experienced vasa previa pregnancies.
Note to physicians: IVPF members are always looking for physicians in their area that are up to date with vasa previa awareness, testing, and management. If you'd like us to list your facility here, please contact the IVPF at info@vasaprevia.com or at 267-790-6693
